The Joke House Comedy Club

The Joke House comedy club is a new night that has been running for three months in the newly refurbished swanky venue called The Oak House in Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire. Dominic Holland kicked off our first event and since then we have had a really good audience turn-out of lovely supportive local people of all ages - no hecklers - but they love any audience participation. Entry to the night is free and I don't have much of a budget so this would be ideal for comedians who want to build up experience performing at a live venue. Comedians can perform anything from 5 minutes to 20 minutes so if you fancy trying out some new material then pay us a visit as you would be really welcome. I promote the events on facebook and in the local press so there's the opportunity to get your mug in the local paper. All acts are welcome - as long as you keep most of your cpothes on!
